Public transportation in Colorado includes buses and light rail systems. Public transportation is managed by the company called The Regional Transportation District (RTD).
Prices and discounts
Adults from 20 to 64 years old
A ticket that works for 3 hours is $2.75, a ticket that works all day is $5.50, and a ticket that works all month is $88.Adults with disabilities and adults who are 65 years and older

There is no name for this ticket category in English. Children younger than 5 years old can use public transportation for free. The bus driver can ask for ID.
If your household income is 185% of the Federal Poverty Level or below, you can apply for a “LiVE” program to get a 50% discount (prices for adults from 20 to 64 years old start at $1.35).
If you commute using the train line the starts in the downtown and goes to the airport, you are required to purchase a more expensive “Airport” ticket (prices for adults from 20 to 64 years old start at $10).

Two grocery stores sell tickets: King Soopers and Safeway. You can pay with cash or a bank card. Tickets are sold in packs of 10 tickets. Tickets are sold at the Customer Service desk and are not sold at the register.
