Employment Specialists work with you to find your first job in the United States, help you identify career opportunities and match your skills with jobs. 

Services: What we do

• Job Searching

• Resume Building 

• Online job applications 

• Mock Interviews 

• Drive you to interviews, job fairs, & orientations

  • Before you receive Bus Training

• Career Counseling 

• Identify your skills, interests, & work experiences 

• Maintain close contact with employers 

• Onboarding assistance 

• Interpreting assistance during interviews and onboarding 

• Advise you on your rights & responsibilities

• Assist with job advancements & career path setting

• We lead Job Club workshops at the Office to help you apply to jobs, create resumes, and get information about employment opportunities

What you must do

• Be honest with the employment team

• Be open minded, the first job will not be your last one 

• Be on time, always! 

• Call your supervisor if you must miss work 

• Inform your supervisor early about appointments 

• Provide your first, second, third pay stub to your Employment Specialist 

• Talk to an employment specialist if there are issues at work 

• Do not quit without having a new job 

• Inform us if you lose your job
